About Us
Borrowdale Academy has its origins in 1998, when it was then known as Quinnington Kindergarten. It moved to its present location in 2000, still operating as a kindergarten and operated as such until 2010 when, by popular parental demand, it became a junior school.
The parents of the graduating kindergarten class asked the school to continue with their children into junior school. The school operated as such for another 2 years until 2012 when again by parental demand the school added the high school department.
We offer boarding and day-scholar options; day scholars are encouraged to participate in all activities, spending the whole day at school.
We focus on Academic achievement, developing scholars as leaders and motivating our students to succeed.

High School Curriculum
- We offer CAMBRIDGE and ZIMSEC syllabus to every student
- The curriculum covers the 4 broad disciplines of Sciences, Commercials, Humanities and Arts
