Head Girl’s Farewell Speech: My BA Reflections

I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, the lessons I’ve learned, and the incredible friends I’ve made. Borrowdale Academy has been more than just a place of learning for me—it’s been a community that has shaped us as students into the individuals we are today.

To my fellow prefects and students, I’m honored to have served alongside you. Thank you for trusting me. Your passion, kindness, and dedication inspired me every day.

To our teachers and staff, thank you for your guidance, support, and dedication. You helped us grow not only academically but also socially.

Lastly, to my fellow students—let’s cherish the memories we’ve made, support one another, and strive for excellence in all we do. As the school motto says: “In pursuit of excellence.”

As I pass on my position to the next Head Girl, I encourage you to lead with integrity, empathy, and courage. Remember that leadership isn’t about the title but about the positive impact you have on those around you.

As I move on to new challenges, I will carry the lessons and memories from this school with me always.

Thank you for the privilege and for trusting me as your Head Girl. I’ll miss you all.
